Habitat: Residual Pool Depth at All SF Battle WA Sites |

Caption: This chart shows the average residual pool depth of scour pools and all pools at all South Fork Battle Creek Watershed Assessment aquatic monitoring sites. Scour pools do not include those formed by large wood. The greatest depth occurred in lower Battle Creek at site #036 upstream of the Inskip Powerhouse, where average residual pool depth was over five feet. All sites except #014 are accessible to anadromous fish, and adults prefer water deeper than 2 m for holding according to Terraqua (2004). Abbreviations are ds = downstream and ab = above.
