Habitat: Residual Pool Depth at NF Battle WA Sites |

Caption: This chart shows the average residual pool depth in meters of both scour pools and all pools at all mainstem NF Battle Creek aquatic monitoring sites for the Battle Creek Watershed Assessment. Scour pools do not include those formed by large wood. Locations in the North Fork ranged from 10 inches to three feet, with the greatest depth occurring near the Volta Powerhouse (#57). Only sample sites #034, #057, and #011 support anadromous fish. Sites #005, #052, and #002 had no pools present. Abbreviations are ds = downstream and ab = above. See Info Links for more information.
