| Caption: This chart shows the pool frequency of all pools and scour pools per 100 meters at lower mainstem Battle Creek Watershed Assessment sites (Terraqua, 2004). Pool frequency as displayed here is not scaled for stream width as it is in EMDS rating curves. Scour pools are those formed by stream meanders and not "forced" by large wood. Pool frequency is highest at site #054, but low at other sites. Abbreviations are ds = downstream and ab = above. See Info Links for more information. | |
