| Caption: This graph shows fecal coliform concentrations measured in Redwood Creek during 1993. The August 31st value represents an average of multiple measurements and the December 14th value represents a one-time storm measurement. Stations were selected in order to gauge effects of land use on water quality. The reference in the table is the mean Non-contact Water Recreation criterion (<2000 MPN/100ml) from the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board 1995 Basin Plan (CRWQCB, 1995). This value is shown as a general guideline, but cannot be directly compared because it is based on specific sampling protocol not met by this survey. Data were collected by Philip Williams and Associates for the California Department of Transportation, District IV and the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
