The map image above is from the ArcView project produced to support Matthews (2000) and shows road construction from 1942 to 1999 in the Middle Fork Ten Mile basin. Older roads were mapped from aerial photos and digitized into ArcView while newer roads (since 1988) are derived from data provided by the California Department of Forestry. The legend shows road construction by period, sub-basins and Planning Watersheds from Matthews (2000).
