Caption:  The graph above shows floating weekly average water temperature for two Upper Mattole River sites in 1996. The maximum floating weekly average temperature (MWAT) was above 75 degrees in Mattole Canyon, but indications from the partial record near Little Finley indicate that temperature was approximately 10 degrees cooler upstream.
