   Caption:  Knopp (1993) measured fine sediment in pools using the V* technique. The chart above shows that Gualala River tributaries, Fuller Creek and Grasshopper Creek, had relatively high volumes of sediment in pools. Fuller Creek is in more advanced recovery than Grasshopper, however, with substantially less sediment residing in pools. The TMDL threshold for V* of 0.21 is shown for reference.
