Caption:  This chart shows the species of fish and number captured using electrofishing at one site on the North Fork Garcia River in 1983. While young of the year steelhead were most abundant (TROUT_YOY), yearlings (1YR) were also present in significant numbers. Stickleback (STCKLBK), sculpin (SCLPN) and suckers were present as well. No block nets were used in these samples so no density or standing crop comparisons can be made. Data were collected and provided by the California Department of Fish and Game. See InfoLinks for more information.
