   Caption:  The chart above shows the length of the juvenile steelhead in electrofishing samples collected by Kimsey (CDFG, 1953) in the Garcia River at Station #2, which was further upstream of Station #1 above the Highway 1 Bridge, on August 13, 1952. The sample had a substantial number of yearling (light green) and two year old steelhead (dark green), but lack of fish larger than eight inches indicated to Kimsey (1953) that there were no resident rainbow trout at this site. A few were found at Site #3 below the North Fork (see next Topic). Data are derived from a California Department of Fish and Game memo by J.B Kimsey (CDFG, 1953). See InfoLinks for more information.
