	Caption:  This chart shows daily maximum rainfall accumulation recorded at the Point Arena rain gage (DWR # F80 7009 00) between 1948 and 1988, missing water year 1974. For the period of record, the 24-hour rainfall accumulation ranged between 1.43 inches in 1972 to 4.75 inches in 1983. Data are compiled by the California Department of Water Resources.
