Temperature: Min, Max, Avg at Eagle Canyon Dam, 1996 |
|
Caption: This temperature graph shows minimum, maximum, and average water temperatures in North Fork Battle Creek at Eagle Canyon Diversion Dam in early summer 1996. Thresholds shown on the graph above are for the egg life history stage before July 1 for winter chinook and after September 15 for spring chinook eggs and for holding adults spring chinook during summer (see below for key). Average water temperature remained below stressful for winter chinook salmon eggs (58 F) during the incubation period which extends through June 30. Increased flows planned in restoration are likely to improve conditions further for winter run chinook salmon in this reach. See Info Links for more information on temperature thresholds.
