Area Basin-wide
Topic Climate: Air Temperatures - Manzanita Lake - Average Monthly 1949-2000

Caption:  This chart shows monthly average minimum, mean, and maximum temperatures at Manzanita Lake for the duration of records, which spans from 1949-2000. That mean air temperatures from November through April remain around freezing (32 F) at the lake's elevation of 5847 feet, suggests that the Battle Creek watershed is susceptible to rain-on-snow events above the elevations recognized by the USFS (3600-5000') and in the Battle Creek WA (3500-5000'). Air temperatures are calculated from data from the National Climatic Data Center as vended through the Western Regional Climate Center. See Info Links for more information.
