| Caption: The Chart shows the cumulative size distribution of bed surface particles in Deer Creek and Wood Lane Creek in fall, 1999. The median particle size (D50) for samples were between 20 and 30 mm. Selected bed surface particles were measured for each sample using the 'pebble count' method (Wolman, 1954) as a way to determine bed roughness for the sediment model.
