| Caption: This chart shows the index of salmonid abundance measured by Rob Leidy for Sonoma County streams sampled sometime in the period 1992-1998. This index describes the percentage of sample consisting of salmonids (1-3 scale, where 0 = no salmonids, 1 = 1-24 salmonid individuals, 2 = 25-50 salmonids, and 3 = >50 salmonids). Null scores for one Calabazas Creek site and Stuart Canyon Creek are the result of no fish collected. Sample sites were at least 30 meters in length and represented multiple habitat types. Surveys typically used block nets and electrofishing. See Info Links for more information. | |
