| Caption: This chart shows the index of native fish composition in samples by Rob Leidy for Marin County streams 1992-1998. Index describes the percentage of sample consisting of native species by abundance (1-3 scale, where 0 = no native fishes, 1 = 1-33% of the total number of individuals collected were native, 2 = 34-66% of the total number of individuals collected were native; and 3 = 67-100% of the total number of individuals collected were native). Sample sites were at least 30 meters in length and represented multiple habitat types. Surveys typically used block nets and electrofishing. See Info Links for more information. | |
