The map image above shows temperature monitoring locations in the Ten Mile River watershed established by Georgia Pacific Corp. in 1993. Now part of timberlands owned by Hawthorne Timber Company, these sites are maintained by the management services of the Campbell Timberland Management Inc. The image above shows the aquatic habitat of site NFT5, where water temperature monitoring occurs. Site NFT5 is pool habitat. Site NFT14 is the adjacent riffle which was monitored for temperature in 1996 and showed identical temperatures.
