Caption: The floating weekly average water temperature at North Fork Ten Mile River site NFT3 exceeded 16.8 degrees in three of six years measured between 1993 and 1998. The stress threshold was not exceeded for more than one week in any given year, but the longest duration of high temperature occurred in 1998. The 16.8 degree C reference value is from Welsh et al.
