Temperature: Min, Max, Avg at Brush Creek - Upr (BRUSH2), 2000 |
|
Caption: This Chart shows the daily minimum, maximum, and average water temperature in Celsius (°C) at upper Brush Creek (site BRUSH2) for the year 1999. Water temperatures were within the optimum range for juvenile salmonids during nearly every day in July through October. Water temperatures were remarkably cool, far lower than any other stream in the Santa Rosa sub-basin. Diurnal range was so small that it is possible the data are faulty, or that the temperature probe was heavily influenced by groundwater. The reference value of 10-15.6°C optimum temperature range for juvenile salmonid rearing is based on McCullough (1999). See InfoLinks for more information. Data comes from automated water temperature data probes placed by the Sonoma County Water Agency.
