   Caption:  This chart displays EPA Land Cover/Land Use data by Calwater Planning Watershed in the western half of the Mark West sub-basin.  Classes are derived from a 1992 Landsat image.  The Pool Creek Calwater is composed of 45.1% agriculture, 34.4% orchards and vineyards, 6.7% residential, and contains little grasslands, shrubs and trees.  The Upper Windsor Creek and Mark West Springs Calwater Planning Watersheds are mainly composed of grasslands, conifer, mixed conifer/hardwood, hardwood, and shrubs, and contain little agriculture and residential areas.
