| Description | Aquatic insects were collected from Santa Rosa Creek by the Sustainable Land Stewardship Institute under contract to the City of Santa Rosa. Samples were taken using a kick net in keeping with the California RAPID Bioassessment protocols (CDFG, 1998) and the Russian River Index of Biological Integrity (Harrington, 1999). Metrics calculated are EPT, Richness, Percent Dominance, Simpson and Hilsenhoff Diversity Indices. |
