WQ: 1973-2000 Dissolved Oxygen in Laguna at Trenton Br. |
|
Caption: This chart shows minimum, median, and maximum dissolved oxygen levels in the Laguna de Santa Rosa at Trenton Bridge for the period 1973-2000. Treated municipal wastewater from the city of Santa Rosa and surrounding areas is discharged in the Laguna. Dissolved oxygen levels dropped below 7.0 mg/L, the NCRWQCB Basin Plan Objective minimum, at many points during the 1970's but appear to have increased in recent years. However, it is difficult to draw conclusions because of limited sampling effort in recent years. Dissolved oxygen was sampled 20-80 times per year in the mid-1970's, but only occasionally in the 1980's and 1990's. Data were provided by the North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board (NCRWQCB). See InfoLinks for more information.
