Caption:  This chart displays the December 1964 storm hydrographs for the East Fork Russian River above (USGS gage #11461500) and below (USGS gage #11462000) Coyote Dam. Coyote dam alters the timing and magnitude of the storm hydrograph downstream. Downstream of the dam, peak flows are decreased and the duration of higher flows are increased. These high flows may accelerate channel incision and bank erosion. See InfoLinks for more information.
