Caption:  This chart shows minimum dissolved oxygen levels at five mainstem Russian River sites for the period 1973-2000. Data were provided by the North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board (NCRWQCB). Dissolved oxygen levels dropped below 7.0 mg/L, the NCRWQCB Basin Plan Objective minimum, during some years at all sites except Hopland Bridge. Number of samples per year varied from 1 to 56.
