Caption:  This chart shows the daily capture of yearling coho salmon, steelhead trout, and cutthroat trout in Boyes Creek from February 27 to June 11, 2001. All but one of the 60 fish shown as steelhead trout could not be positively identified. The fyke net trap was operated by the Humboldt State University Fisheries Coop. Numbers of fish trapped are not to be construed as a fish population estimate because of unknown trap efficiency and avoidance of the trap by fish at higher flows.
