Topic	Temperature: Min, Max and Average Redwood Creek 1995

 

Caption:  Water temperatures in Redwood Creek at the North Fork Noyo (site 13) in 1995 peaked at ~19.6 C in early August. The maximum diurnal temperature shifts of approximately 3.5 degrees C and the seasonal variation was approximately 7.5 degrees C. The optimal water temperature for salmonid salmon growth of 10-15 degrees C (Brett, 1952) is shown for reference. Data provided by Mendocino Redwood Company.
