	Caption:  The chart above shows the total numbers of aquatic vertebrates, by species (not age-class), captured at three sites sampled by CDFG-trained habitat typing crews on the North Fork South Fork Noyo River in 1995. Steelhead trout out-numbered coho salmon juveniles 44 to three. The tailed frog larvae is of interest as an environmental indicator (see Amphibian Background page).
