Habitat Typing: Duffy Gulch West Branch Percent by Length |
|
Caption: The chart above shows percent occurrence by length of three habitat categories taken from a West Branch Duffy Gulch habitat typing survey. The survey was conducted in September 1996 and covered 3,138 feet or 0.6 miles. The low proportion of pools (6%), dominance of flatwater habitats (72%), and occurrence of dry reaches (7%) indicate poor habitat for coho salmon and older age classes of steelhead. Data collected by Georgia Pacific and supplied for use in KRIS by the California Department of Fish and Game, Sacramento, CA.
