Fish: Noyo Hatchery Coho Egg Take 1977-1999 |

Caption: The graph above shows annual coho salmon egg take at the Noyo River Egg Collecting Station on the South Fork Noyo River. Adult female coho have had an average of approximately 2200 eggs at the egg station for all years of collection (see Chart Table for annual fecundity). Eggs have been shipped to various facilities for rearing then a portion returned to the Noyo at yearling size. Incubating facilities have included Mad River Hatchery, Warms Springs Hatchery, ponds in Pt Arena, Silverado Fish Culture Station and others. Only Mad River Hatchery has been used in the last few years.
