Sediment: Turbidity vs. Flow Noyo River January 1997 |
|
Caption: The chart above is derived from data collected by Graham Matthews for the Sediment Source Analysis and Preliminary sediment Budget for the Noyo River. It reflects USGS gauging station data and turbidity data collected by the city of Ft Bragg at its domestic water intake. The turbidity is in Nephlometric Turbidity Units (NTU). The turbidity rose above 10 NTU for the first three days in January on a major storm event and also for similar duration on a minor storm event from January 24-28.
