Habitat Typing: Mainstem Noyo River Canopy Cover |
|
Caption: The canopy cover of the Mainstem Noyo had a component of conifers (27%), with a total canopy of 49%. More than half the habitat units measured (51%) had no canopy and therefore no shade from trees. Larger order streams typically have less shade as a result of their greater width. This survey was conducted by staff of Georgia Pacific with 90,729 feet or 17.2 miles surveyed. Data supplied for use in KRIS by the California Department of Fish and Game, Sacramento, CA.
