Caption: The chart above shows the daily minimum, maximum, and average water temperature in Celsius (°C) at lower Rancheria Creek (site 008) for the year 1995. Temperatures were above 15.6°C, the upper optimal temperature for salmonid rearing, for almost the entire 1995 season. The reference value of 10-15.6°C optimum temperature range for juvenile salmonid rearing is based on McCullough (1999). Sullivan et al. (2000) considered 25°C as lethal for Pacific salmon species.
