|
Caption: The chart shows the daily minimum, maximum, and average water temperature in Celsius (°C) at upper South Branch North Fork Navarro River (site 85-2) for the year 2001. Maximum and Average water temperatures were above 15.6°C, the upper optimal temperature for salmonid rearing (McCullough, 1999), for most of May-August. Minimum temperatures fell into optimal ranges on most nights which would help steelhead cope with diurnal heat stress. See Info Links for more information.
