Temperature: FWA at Indian Cr Above NF (Site 027) 1995-1996 |
|
Caption: The chart shows the floating weekly average water temperature in Celsius (°C) of Indian Creek at above confluence with North Fork for the years 1995 and 1996. Floating weekly averages greater than 22 C are often associated with lethal water temperatures for salmonids, which is 25 degrees C according to Sullivan et al. (2000). Floating weekly average water temperatures exceeded 16.8°C for long durations in both years, which would make this reach unsuitable for coho (Welsh et al. , 2001). Temperature data provided by the Mendocino County Water Agency (MCWA).
