| Caption: The average daily dissolved oxygen (D.O.) of the A Canal in 1992 is displayed above. Note that D.O. levels fluctuate from super-saturated (>12 mg/l) in February of 1992 to a low of less than 4 mg/l in late October. High D.O. is generally associated with algae blooms and severe D.O. sags are usually as a result of algae die-offs in Upper Klamath Lake. Since the origin of the A Canal is at the outlet of Upper Klamath lake, the D.O. data may be somewhat representative of the out-flow into Link River.
