Fish: Chinook (Fall) SF Trinity Sex Ratios |
|
Caption: California Department of Fish and Game studies on South Fork Trinity River fall Chinook salmon between 1985 and 1990 showed that the sex ratio was skewed towards males. Normal sex ratios are 50:50. The consistent ratio favoring males makes it unlikely that this ratio is a random occurrence. Click on Info Links for more information.
