Sediment: Median Particle Size (3) - Hyampom (1998, 2000) |
|
Caption: The chart shows median particle size pebble count data from the Six Rivers National Forest for the South Fork Trinity River at Hyampom (river mile 29.5 to 31.6) for 1998 and 2000. These D50's are very small, which Knopp (1993) found representative of disturbed watershed conditions. These cross sections have likely not recovered from the impacts of the 1964 flood at this location that buried the stream bed more than 8 meters deep. See Info Links for more information.
