Fish: Steelhead Adults Redds by Reach South Fork Tribs 2001-02 |

Caption: This chart shows the number of redds by reach per kilometer for steelhead in South Fork Trinity River tributaries in the 2001-2002 spawning season. The data are from the California Department of Fish and Game Spawning surveys for winter-run steelhead conducted on tributaries of the Trinity River from March 1 through June 27, 2002. A total of 12 tributaries, four times each, for a single pass total of 77.3 km. Redd densities were considerably higher than any of the past 10 years in the Trinity basin. The highest density of steelhead redds occurred in East Fork Hayfork Creek at 9.4 redds per km. Click on Info Links for more information.
