| Caption: This chart displays the hydrograph by water year for the Shasta River according to USGS stream gauge flow measurements. The water year shown above is for 1912. The convention for water years is to begin them on October 1 of the previous calendar year so the date at left should be October 1, 1911. You may call up any water year by using the slide bar just below the Y-column selector (just below center right) and hitting the green recycle button. Pay close attention to the Y-axis because values may change enormously between years. Choose specific start dates in the Chart Table. More recent data (since 1999) is available on USGS website.
