Temperature: Temp Max Wooley Creek Below NF Wooley Creek 1991 & 1993 |
|
Caption: This chart shows the maximum daily water temperatures in 1991 and 1993 of Wooley Creek below its confluence with NF Wooley Creek. In both years, temperature ranges remained below levels stressful for Salmonids. Note that spring water temperatures in 1991 were considerably cooler than in 1993, possibly reflective of greater snowfall in 1991. Data were collected by automated temperature sensors called Hobotemps, which were anchored in moving water in the shade. Hobotemps were monitored by the Klamath National Forest, Salmon River Ranger District. Data were assimilated by Tim Mahan on behalf of the North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board and provided to KRIS staff.
