Temperature: Temp Max Crapo Creek: Air and Water 2002 |
|
Caption: This chart shows the maximum daily water and air temperatures in 2002 at the mouth of Crapo Creek. Other than one brief period in July, the water temperature in Crapo Creek remained below levels stressful to Salmonids during the entire season. Data were collected from automated temperature sensors called Hobotemps, which were anchored in flowing water in the shade between June and November 2002. Hobotemps were monitored by community volunteers and paid staff of the Salmon River Restoration Council.
