Caption:  The data table mtspawn.dbf was reconstructed by hand from California Department of Fish and Game annual reports on spawning activity for the mainstem Trinity River. ZONE = reach of the Trinity River defined by CDFG (reaches with lowest number are nearer Lewiston Dam). Other column headers are the years of the spawning season. The carcass surveys are conducted in fall but may extend into spring months of the following year for steelhead spawning. For example, NR8990 would be the counting period in fall 1989 that would extend into spring of 1990. Click on Info Links tab for location of reaches and other information.
