Temperature: Floating Weekly Average Klamath Tributaries 2003 |

Caption: This chart shows the floating weekly maximum water temperatures of the Klamath River tributaries including: Bluff Creek, Beaver Creek, Elk Creek, Salmon River, Shasta River, and Willow Creek from May to October in 2003. The Shasta River temperature increased more rapidly than the other tributaries. Other tributaries temperature increase rates are similar during May through late-July. In late-June the Salmon River temperature continued to increase steadily while other tributaries temperature increase rates decreased slightly. The Shasta River, Salmon Rivers, and Willow Creek experienced floating weekly average temperatures that exceeded levels stressful to salmonids, exceeded this level from late-June to early September.
