Caption: This chart shows the floating weekly average water temperature of the Klamath River at the Iron Gate Bridge, at Seiad Valley, and at Orleans from May to November in 2001. Floating weekly average temperatures were lowest at Iron Gate Dam and increased downstream to Orleans. Temperatures exceeded the stress level for salmonids from mid-June to late-September at Iron Gate and earlier at Seiad Valley and Orleans. Data are from the US Fish and Wildlife Service.
