Maximum floating weekly average water temperature (MWAT) exceeded 16.8°C in all 6 years, which means it is over the suitable range for coho salmon rearing (Welsh et al., 2001). Temperature data come from automated water temperature data probes placed in the Klamath River and its tributaries by the Klamath National Forest and the Karuk Tribe.
