Fish: Summer Steelhead Middle Klamath Tribs 1978-1987 |
|
Caption: The chart above shows summer steelhead escapement estimates for Middle Klamath Basin tributaries from 1978 to 1987. Clear Creek had by far the largest escapement with over 1500 adults returning in 1984. Dillon Creek had fairly consistent runs of approximately 200 summer steelhead during this period. Population estimates may not be based on complete counts but rather reflect expansions based on counts in index reaches of varying length. Zeros in data for some years mean that streams were not surveyed as opposed to no fish present. Data provided by the California Department of Fish and Game and the U.S. Forest Service.
