Fish: Salmonid Dive Totals at Dillon Creek and Mainstem Refugia 2002 |
|
Caption: The chart above shows the results of ten summer 2002 dive surveys in lower Dillon Creek and the coldwater refugia in the mainstem Klamath at the creek's mouth. The life-stages of each species are combined in this graph. Overall, there were more salmonids in the coldwater refugia than in the river, although coho were found only in the creek. Steelhead and Chinook were present in far higher numbers in the refugia than in the creek. Data were provided by the Karuk Tribe. See Info Links for more information.
