Temperature: Floating Weekly Average Horse Linto @ 6 Locations 2000 |
|
Caption: The floating weekly average water temperature of Horse Linto at five locations is shown above for the year 2000. The maximum weekly average temperature (MWAT) did not exceed 16.8 C except at lower Horse Linto Creek sites, above Cedar Creek and at the bridge just upstream of convergence with the Trinity. Cedar Creek's cool contributions reduce the temperature of Horse Linto at the bridge. The East Fork Horse Linto is by far the coolest of the sites measured. The threshold represents suitability for coho salmon according to Welsh et al. (2001). See Info Links for more information. Data provided by Six Rivers National Forest.
