Fish: Downstream Trap 1990 Results from Tully Cr |
|
Caption: U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Arcata Office operated a downstream migrant trap on several Lower Klamath tributaries in 1990 (click on Chart Table to see raw data). One trap was rotated between sites so each creek was only sampled for a total of approximately twelve nights. This irregular snapshot may not represent a full portrait of fish assemblages in the basin; however, it is more useful than spot electrofishing. Trap results are not conclusive but they suggest that the Tully Creek fish community is dominated by young of the year steelhead, although one coho was trapped. See Info Links for more information.
