| Caption: The California Department of Fish and Game operated a downstream migrant trap on North Fork Elk River periodically from March through July 1988 in order to estimate coho production. This chart shows that in 1988 North Fork Elk River supported a fish community dominated by coho salmon with young of the year (0+) with yearling coho (1+) far outnumbering steelhead and other species.
