Caption: This chart plots the floating weekly average temperature of Hutton Gulch for the years 1995-2001. Floating weekly average temperatures did not exceeded 16.8° Celsius during any of the seven years measured and was suitable, with regard to temperature, for coho rearing. Welsh et al. (2001) found that coho are not likely to persist where maximum floating weekly average temperature (MWAT) exceeds 16.8°C. See InfoLinks for more information.
